Verify your ID
A short in-house check: a photo of your ID, a face scan and a phrase you say out loud.

Six attempts a day. Your ID and selfie images are deleted seven days after the decision, straight away if the check is declined, and after 90 days if it is never finished. We keep a record that a check happened, not the pictures.

An admin reviews new verifications, usually within a few hours. You will be notified.
Questions
Why verify?
Both sides of a booking are verified members, so nobody is dealing with a stranger. Some categories, such as cars and yachts, also need your name as it appears on your ID.
Can I change my name after verifying?
Your first and last name lock once your ID is verified, so they always match it.
